Scholarships Available at the University of Delhi:
On an annual basis, hundreds of merit- and need-based scholarships are awarded by the University of Delhi. Following are some of the most prestigious scholarships offered by the institute:
#1 Undergraduate Scholarships
Students in their first year of an undergraduate degree program are eligible for these fixed-funded scholarships. However, if the student maintains a good academic record, the management may renew these scholarships.
A student enrolled in a Computer Science course, the BCA – B.Sc program, is eligible for these scholarships. However, only those students are eligible for Students who earn the highest grade in their first year are eligible for these awards. Each award is worth Rs.350 per month.
Three-year scholarships are available for female students at the university. The scholarship is worth Rs.100 per month.
During the first year of undergraduate study, students are offered need-cum-merit scholarships by the university management. Scholarships are for a minimum of three years. Following each academic year, students can renew their scholarships provided they score highly on their exams.
#2 Postgraduate Scholarships
The Delhi University and All-India Postgraduate Scholarships offer a monthly tuition fee waiver of Rs.300 to students enrolled in several postgraduate course programs.
As part of this program, the management waives the tuition fees for two students each month. Scholarships are provided by the management for a maximum of two years of postgraduate study.
#3 Departmental Scholarships
These scholarships are available to students pursuing their Master’s degree in Persian at the university. Their postgraduate degrees will be funded by a scholarship worth Rs.75 per month awarded by the university.
The scholarship is awarded to students pursuing Master’s degrees in the faculty of Commerce. It is worth Rs.400 per month. There are twelve scholarships offered under this program.
The university offers students these scholarships for a minimum of ten months. Furthermore, the scholarships total Rs.14,000 in accumulated value, divided into 150 rupees a month endowments.
Students who secure at least 60% in their first semester examinations for B.Library. Scholarships worth Rs.260 will be awarded to students who are enrolled in the Science course.
