Entry Requirements:

1.Before enrolling at GIST, applicants must have a final degree.
2.Their bachelor's degree must be at least as good as a Korean bachelor's degree.
3.Applicants must also be foreign students.
4.They must be fluent in English.

Advantages:

1.This scholarship will pay international students' whole tuition expense.
2.MS students will be paid 140,000 Won each month.
3.PhD students will be paid 295,000 Won each month.
4.MS and Ph.D. students will be given a meal stipend of 100,000 Won every semester.
5.MS and Ph.D. students will receive a 120,000 Won foreign student allowance. Students must, however, maintain a GPA of three or above out of a possible 4.5 in the preceding semester.
6.MS students involved in research projects will earn a research assistantship of 4,785,384 won per year, while Ph.D. students would receive a research assistantship worth 12,263,262 won per year.
7.In addition, GIST will cover a one-way ticket to Korea (only once).
8.It will also cover 60% of national health insurance costs, including yearly physicals.

Certificates needed:

1.Official transcripts and degrees Apostille is desired, although notarized copies are acceptable as well.
2.Two letters of recommendation with the recommenders' stamps and signatures.
3.A copy of the applicant's passport is required.
4.The need is an official English language exam report, such as TOEFL (BT) 80/ TOEFL (PBT) 550/ IELTS 6.5/ TOEIC 750/ NEW TEPS 327. If you do not get your test results on time, your local university may be able to provide you with a professional English language competency certificate.
