The Hong Kong Fellowship provides international applicants with the opportunity to complete their PhD programmes at Top Hong Kong Universities. Students with a Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) can apply directly for the Hong Kong PhD fellowship, and Masters students can also apply for the Hong Kong Scholarships for International Students. The fellowship programme involves a total of eight top universities. Candidates may apply to any academic field of study offered by the university. There are no restrictions on academic background. For the academic year 2023, 300 scholarships will be awarded to students wishing to study in Hong Kong. If you have previously completed your degree in English, there is no need for a language test such as IELTS.
The Hing Kong Government Scholarship aims to attract the world's best and brightest students to pursue Direct Ph.D. studies in Hong Kong's universities. How to Apply:
1.Before applying for Ph.D. admission to their preferred universities, eligible candidates must first submit an Initial Application online through the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme Electronic System (HKPFSES) to obtain a HKPFS Reference Number by December 1st, 2022.
2.Under HKPFS 2023/24, applicants may select up to two programs/departments at one or two universities for Ph.D. study. They must meet the admission requirements of their chosen universities and programmes.
3.Because application deadlines for some universities may immediately follow the initial application deadline, candidates should submit initial applications as soon as possible to ensure that they have enough time to submit applications to universities.
