Scholarships in Canada - University of British Columbia is now accepting applications for Scholarships 2023

 

The University of British Columbia Scholarships 2023 are open to all students. Both Canadians and international students are eligible to apply, since the scholarship has been awarded to persons from more than 105 countries. Students can apply for merit-based prizes and scholarships, entry scholarships, excellent international student awards, and they also grant scholarships to foreign students who are already enrolled.

A $10,000 stipend will be offered to students twice a year; this is an excellent chance because the award will cover all significant expenses. You don't have to support yourself when you may apply for these scholarships. All PhD aspirants, this is a fantastic chance for you to apply by May 12th, 2023.
Each year, the University of British Columbia chooses 35 to 40 applicants for PhD Scholarships.

Benefits  

  1. Students who win this award will get $10,000 twice for each academic year.
  2. The award can be used as a travel allowance for professional development or academic activity connected to research.
  3. If the student's present support is insufficient to cover the costs, the award might be used as a stipend.

Eligibility 

  1. You must be enrolled in a UBC Doctoral programme, which might include a PhD, EdD, or DMA.
  2. Students from the UBC Okanagan Campus are also eligible to apply.
  3. The candidate must not have spent more than 48 months on campus pursuing a doctorate.
  4. Candidates must have been registered with the institution by September 1, 2023.
  5. Applicants in their sixth year (48 to 60 months of doctorate study) will be considered only under extraordinary circumstances.

How to apply  

  1. Candidates must apply online.
  2. Candidates must first download the fellowship form before filling it out and uploading it.
  3. When you click the Apply Now option on the PSI website, the form will be visible.
  4. As part of their PSI Fellowship application, applicants must complete the CCV from the Canadian Common CV Web site (https://ccv-cvc.ca/indexresearcher-eng.frm) and upload it.
  5. Candidates must use the Vanier-Banting Academic CV template for the CCV.
  6. Two letters of support must be supplied by the applicant's supervisors using the 'Application Processes' link given on the Application main website where the applicant obtained the papers.
  7. The referee's signature is required on the recommendation letters. The signature is optional.
