This completely sponsored internship is available at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology for a minimum of three months and a maximum of six months. All overseas students are eligible for this research internship. All qualified foreign Bachelor's and Master's students who are currently in their third year, have graduated with a bachelor's degree, or are enrolled in a master's degree can apply for the KAUST VSRP internship programme. Every year, 130 foreign interns, both men and women, are accepted. This is a fantastic chance to add experience to your CV by interning overseas. The internship is fully financed, with all expenses paid for overseas students. As a result, students do not need to be concerned about internship costs.

The KAUST summer internship programme in Saudi Arabia provides an interesting chance for overseas students to participate in research with mentor faculty in certain research fields. Each internship typically lasts 3 to 6 months. Cultural events, field visits, and many areas of KAUST's work pertinent to understanding will be introduced to students. Fieldwork, laboratory activities, conferences, and data workshops are all part of the international internship.

The KAUST International internship programme will cover all internship expenditures, including air travel and visa charges, as well as lodging, a living allowance, and health insurance. It's a great way for overseas students to obtain hands-on experience and prepare for professional employment. Students will acquire hands-on experience and broaden their professional network.

Eligibility 

  1. Students in their third year of a bachelor's degree programme or enrolled in a master's degree programme.
  2. International students from all around the world are welcome.
  3. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0, with some research projects requiring a GPA of 3.60 or above.
  4. Candidates must be fluent in English.
  5. They must be able to present all KAUST-required documentation.
  6. Applicants must be immunised and have an appropriate vaccination certificate.
