This fully funded fellowship is an initiative of POSCO, one of the world's leading steel manufacturers, to enable international students to continue their higher education and research in South Korea while also developing their leadership skills in order to become global leaders. The fellowship programme works with some of South Korea's top universities, which are known for their academic excellence and cutting-edge research facilities. These institutions offer scholars a world-class education as well as an intellectually stimulating environment in which to develop their talents and skills.
POSCO Asia Fellowship Programme 2024 is designed for exceptional and motivated students who have graduated with a STEM degree and wish to pursue master's or PhD studies in engineering and natural sciences. The POSCO fellowship in South Korea will cover all of the scholars' expenses, including full tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and a research grant. This fellowship will also serve as a forum for cross-cultural exchange among students from various parts of Asia, and students will form a large network with their fellow scholars. Fellows can also join the massive POSCO Asia Fellowship alum community once their studies are completed. This large network will provide them with assistance, mentorship, and opportunities to further their professional growth and development.

Eligibility
- This fellowship is open to applicants with a bachelor's degree.
- Applicants with leadership potential and qualities are encouraged to apply.
- Those who wish to study at the Korean Graduate School in the spring or fall semesters of 2024 may apply.
- Applicants must be passionate about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) majors.
- Applicants must be Asian citizens (students of other nationalities are ineligible).
- Applicants must have a strong academic background.
- Because the courses will be taught in English, applicants must be fluent in the language.
