Eligibility
- Applicants must be citizens of a CERN member state or an associate member state.
- International students must have completed at least 18 months of study (Bachelor's or Master's) in an administrative field.
- Applicants must be full-time students while participating in the CERN internship programme.
- Furthermore, they must be fluent in French and English. However, no proof of English language proficiency is necessary.
- This programme is not open to students specialising in experimental or theoretical particle physics.
Benefits
- Interns will be assigned at CERN for a period of four to twelve months.
- Students will get a monthly allowance of 3407 Swiss Francs (net of tax).
- If you are married or have children, you may be eligible for a supplement depending on your circumstances.
- Interns will also be provided with a travel allowance (which will include Economy Class tickets).
- In addition, students will be provided with a health insurance plan.
