Eligibility
- All citizens, including Turkish citizens, are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must be BSc or MSC grads.
- Candidates must have a CGPA of at least 2.80/4.00 at the time of application.
- If the candidate is a Turkish national residing in Turkey, an ALES score of 55 (quantitative) is necessary.
- International candidates must have a GRE General Test score of 153 (quantitative). However, if the candidate is only slightly off and has a strong background, they are encouraged to apply.
- Furthermore, they must have a TOEFL score of at least 87 (English proficiency) or an IELTS score of at least 6.5 bands.
- Bilkent COPE must be at least a C.
Benefits
- Tuition fees are waived in full (62.100 TL each year).
- PhD applicants will get a monthly salary and housing allowance of 5.500 TL.
- MS applicants will get a monthly stipend of 4.400 TL, as well as lodging.
- A private health insurance policy will be provided as part of the Bilkent University scholarship.
- Scholarship recipients will also receive a laptop or PC.
- Following the PhD qualifier, the scholarship will also provide a meal card to the PhD candidate.
- Finally, candidates may or may not travel Support (once a year, for a fixed amount) to attend scientific events.
