The ANSO Scholarship 2024 for Young Talents is now open for applications. In China, apply for the ANSO Scholarship 2024. In Chinese universities, it is a fully funded scholarship. There will be 500 scholarships available for postgraduate degree programs. The ANSO Scholarship covers all expenses, including travel.
Every year, the ANSO Scholarship enables 200 Master's students and 300 Ph.D. students to study Master's or PhD degrees at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), or Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) institutes around China. What exactly is ANSO?
The Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) is a non-governmental international organization that was established in 2018. 37 scientific institutes, universities, and international organizations from throughout the world are among the founding members.
What exactly is USTC?
In 1958, USTC was the first university established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is today a well-known institution in China, with a global reputation.
What exactly is UCAS?
The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) is a forward-thinking university that primarily focuses on graduate education. UCAS has about 50,000 current students, with more than half of them pursuing doctorates.
Benefits
The following are the primary advantages of ANSO Scholarship holders:
- Waiver of Tuition
- Stipend paid monthly
- PhD students might earn between 6,000 and 7,000 CNY each month for up to 48 months.
- 3,000 CNY per month for up to 36 months for Masters
- Health Coverage
- International Travel Allowance from the applicant's home country to China.
- Visa Fee, and Residence Permit Allowance.
Requirements and Criteria
- The applicant must not be of Chinese nationality.
- Should be fluent in either English or Chinese.
- Applicants for Master's Degrees: You must have been born after January 1, 1994 (inclusive).
- For PhD Candidates: You must have been born after January 1, 1989 (inclusive).
- Applicants must also fulfill the USTC and UCAS University criteria.
- You are not eligible if you are receiving another scholarship at a Chinese university.
