 Fully Funded Denmark Government Scholarships 2024-2025 for Bachelors, Masters, PhD for International Students

Denmark is a European Union member that shares a border with Germany, Norway, and Sweden. To study in Denmark as an international student, apply for the Denmark Government Scholarships 2024. The Danish government provides scholarships to encourage international students to pursue higher education in Denmark. These grants are offered for both master's and doctoral studies in a variety of disciplines. After completing your education, you may apply for the Denmark Job Seeker Permit.

According to studyindenmark news, 55% of international students choose to remain in Denmark, indicating a solid work-life balance. The number of international students in Denmark is continually increasing, making it a popular study destination. Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens may work in Denmark for up to 20 hours per week and full-time in June, July, and August. Students might earn between 750 and 800 euros per month from a part-time job. Below are the scholarships managed by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science:

1. Danish Government Scholarships for NON-EU/EEA students
This is the primary scholarship program administered by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science. It includes both tuition and living expenses.

Danish universities get a limited number of government scholarships each year to support highly qualified full-degree students from non-EU/EEA countries and Switzerland.

Eligibility
  1. From non-EU/EEA nations, including Switzerland.
  2. Enrolled in a full-degree higher education program.
  3. Not eligible for admission to an Artistic Higher Education Institution.

2. Erasmus Mundus/Joint Master Degree Scholarship
The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is available to both EU/EEA and non-EU/EAA students. The Erasmus Mundus system allows you to apply for a scholarship to study specified Master's degree programs.

The Erasmus Scholarship is fully funded by the European Commission. It includes airfare, stipend, visa, health insurance, and tuition expenses.

University Specific Scholarships

The University of Copenhagen offers a limited number of tuition waivers and grants through the Danish Government Scholarship program.
  1. Aarhus University provides a master's degree program. The scholarships fully cover tuition and living expenses.
  2. Technical University of Denmark (DTU): This university provides various scholarships to international students, including the DTU Ph.D. and Master's Scholarships. These scholarships cover tuition and provide a monthly stipend.
  3. Aalborg University: This university provides a variety of scholarships to international students, including Talent Scholarships and Merit Scholarships.
  4. Roskilde University: This university provides Danish State Tuition Fee Waivers, which cover simply tuition.
