The fall intake will begin in September 2024. KAIST University is currently accepting applications for graduate degree programs including as Master's and Ph.D. Students from all across the world may apply for the KAIST Graduate Scholarship 2024. The university is located in Daejeon, South Korea.
KAIST is a highly regarded public university. Many overseas students are studying at Korean universities. The Korean government wants to attract 300,000 international students. International students may also apply for the GKS Korean Government Scholarship 2024 for Graduate Programs at KAIST University. The scholarship term for a Master's Degree is two years, while a Ph.D. degree is four years, depending on the curriculum. Benefits of KAIST University Scholarship
- Tuition Fees are waived for four semesters for Master's degree candidates, ten for Master's-Ph.D. integrated degree applicants, and eight semesters for Ph.D. degree candidates.
- Monthly stipend guarantee: KRW 350,000 for master's programs and KRW 400,000 for doctoral programs.
- Monthly National Health Insurance Premiums
- Many students work part-time jobs in South Korea for fun, to pass the time, and to earn extra money.
Benefits of the KAIST Global Presidential Scholarship
- Full Tuition Grant: Four Semesters
- Monthly Stipend Guarantee: KRW 1,000,000 for four semesters.
Benefits of the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS)
This is a Korean government scholarship program. As of (4th March 2024), it is open for graduate degree programs.
The GKS program includes travel, a monthly allowance, a settling allowance, language training costs, and tuition.

Eligibility criteria
- Only international students without Korean citizenship may apply.
- If you are applying for a Master's or Ph.D. degree program, you must provide verification of your bachelor's degree.
- If you are applying for a Ph.D. degree program, you must provide verification of your master's degree.
- Over 80 to 90% of lectures are delivered in English.
- English Language Proficiency Required Grades:
- TOEFL iBT: 83.
- IELTS: 6.5; TOEIC: 720; TEPS: 326.
