Seoul National University's (SNU) online applications for Fall 2024 are currently open. Start submitting applications for the Seoul National University Scholarship 2024. Seoul National University offers undergraduate, graduate, and full-time MBA degrees. The university has routinely ranked highly in worldwide university rankings. SNU University offers numerous fully supported scholarships, including the KGSP (GKS) Scholarship Program. 

One disadvantage of the SNU is that their application deadline is extremely short. You may only apply during the application period. Almost every academic discipline and major is available. List of Scholarships Available at SNU University

Undergraduate Scholarships (Before Admission) 
1. Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) (Now GKS) – However, for undergraduates, GKS will open in September.
  1. Full tuition fee: tuition exemption for eight semesters.
  2. Living expenses are 900,000 KRW per month.
  3. Airfare: one economy roundtrip
  4. Korean language training costs one year.
2. Overseas Korean Scholarship (opens in February or March)
  1. Full tuition exemption for a maximum of eight semesters (Only when conditions are met).
  2. Living expenses are 900,000 KRW per month for 8 semesters (maximum).
  3. Airfare for a single economy round trip
  4. Korean language training fee exemption at the Language Education Institute for 6 months.
  5. medical insurance subscription (private company)
Undergraduate scholarship options include
  1. The Glo-Harmony Scholarship.
  2. Korean government offers Global Korea Scholarship (GKS)
  3. Korean War Memorial Foundation Scholarship to self-financed students.

Graduate Scholarships (Before Admission)

1. SNU President Fellowship Program (SPF)
  1. Tuition fee: complete tuition exemption for up to six semesters.
  2. Living expenses: 1,500,000 to 2,000,000 KRW each month for 3-4 years.
  3. A round-trip airfare (economy class according to the GTS system)
  4. Korean language instruction (only evening classes during the normal semesters)
  5. National Health Insurance fee reimbursement
2. Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students (GSFS)
  1. Tuition fee: Full tuition exemption for up to four semesters.
  2. Living expenses: a minimum of 500,000 KRW per month (varying depending on the beneficiaries' majors).
3. Overseas Koreans Scholarship
  1. Full tuition exemption for up to four semesters (where conditions are met).
  2. Living expenses are 900,000 KRW per month. Four semesters (maximum).
  3. Airfare for a single economy round trip
  4. Korean language training fee exemption at the Language Education Institute for 6 months.
  5. medical insurance subscription (private company)
4. Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP/GKS) 
  1. Full tuition fee: tuition exemption for 4 semesters for Master's program and 6 semesters for PhD program
  2. Living costs: 1,000,000 KRW per month
  3. Airfare: one economy roundtrip
  4. Korean language training is necessary for one year. Students who do not earn TOPIK grade 3 within a year will be ineligible for the degree program.
  5. Other costs include medical insurance, a research fund, thesis printing fees, settlement, and return expenditures.
