St. George's University, the premier choice in Caribbean Medical Schools, was founded as an independent School of Medicine in 1976. It has since evolved into a top center of international medical education, attracting med school and MD program students, alumni, and faculty from over 150 countries to Grenada.
St George's now provides a scholarship to applicants to her Global Health MSc courses from low-income, lower-middle-income, or upper-middle-income countries as defined by the World Bank.
Requirements:
- To apply for a full-time or part-time degree, applicants must not already hold a Masters level or higher qualification, such as a PhD.
- Must be self-financed (courses fully sponsored by the NHS or students receiving employer or sponsor financing are not eligible).
- The World Bank defines a low-income, lower-middle-income, or upper-middle-income country as having a ratio of at least 2:1.
- All qualifying candidates will be shortlisted on July 1, 2024 (please note that scholarships cannot be deferred until 2023 or later admission).
Applicants with the highest results in all courses will be evaluated for the award and may be invited to an interview.
Benefits:
- The scholarship provides full tuition fees and a maintenance stipend of £17,000 to cover living expenses.

Application Process

- To be considered for funding, you must complete and submit your application by May 1, 2024.
