Applications are now open for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Scholarship for the 2025-2027 intake. The MESPOM program (Master in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management) is part of this scholarship and is offered at four universities: Central European University (Austria), Lund University (Sweden), the University of Manchester (UK), and the University of the Aegean (Greece). This program is coordinated by the Central European University.
The Erasmus Mundus MESPOM Scholarship covers tuition, travel, visa, food, and living expenses for the entire program.
Program Duration and Structure
- The program is 24 months long, with 120 ECTS credits.
- First Year (Fall and Winter): Central European University (Vienna, Austria)
- Fall of Second Year: Lund University (Sweden) or University of Manchester (UK)
- Spring Term: University of the Aegean (Lesvos, Greece)
- Summer Term: Internship supervised by MESPOM faculty
- Thesis: Students can choose any of the four universities based on their interests.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to applicants from all countries.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, policy, natural/social sciences, engineering, or related fields. Other degrees may be accepted if the applicant has shown commitment to environmental issues.
- Must be proficient in English.
