Study in Singapore on a fully funded scholarship! Applications are now open for the SINGA Scholarship 2025-2026. SINGA (Singapore International Graduate Award) is a partnership between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR) and five universities in Singapore. This scholarship is for those who want to pursue a PhD or EngD degree at NTU, NUS, SUTD, SMU, or SIT University. If you have a Bachelor's degree, you can directly apply for the PhD program. The scholarship is available to students from all over the world and covers all expenses. You don’t need GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, or GATE scores to apply. The scholarship lasts for four years. Number of Scholarships:
240 scholarships are awarded each year.

Universities and Degrees Offered:

  1. NUS: PhD
  2. NTU: PhD
  3. SMU: PhD, EngD
  4. SUTD: PhD, EngD
  5. SIT: EngD

Financial Benefits:

  1. Full coverage of tuition fees
  2. Monthly stipend of S$2,200, which increases to S$2,700 after passing the qualifying exam
  3. One-time airfare grant up to S$1,500
  4. One-time settling-in allowance of S$1,000

Fields of Study:
Biomedical Sciences, Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Physical Sciences.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Must be an international student
  2. Proficiency in written and spoken English
  3. Good recommendations from academic referees
  4. No age limit
  5. A valid passport is required for the application

Required Documents:

  1. Passport
  2. Bachelor's and/or Master's transcripts
  3. Two recommendation letters (submitted online by referees)
  4. Motivation letter for the scholarship
  5. IELTS/TOEFL is not compulsory
  6. No application fee
