 Scholarships in China: How to Apply for CSC Scholarships at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) 2025

The Chinese Government Scholarship applications are now open for students to apply to study at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in 2025. BIT is accepting applications for Master's and Ph.D. programs for the 2025 academic year. Students from around the world can apply. BIT is one of China's top universities, and the scholarship will cover all costs for international students. This fully funded scholarship is provided by the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC). Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship covers:

  • Tuition fees
  • Free university housing or a living allowance
  • Monthly stipend:
    • Master's students: CNY 3,000/month
    • Doctoral students: CNY 3,500/month
  • Comprehensive health insurance

Who Can Apply

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Not be Chinese citizens
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 for a Master’s program, or a master’s degree and be under 40 for a Ph.D.
  • Provide an HSK score of 180 or higher for programs taught in Chinese
  • Have a TOEFL score of at least 85, IELTS score of 6.0, or Duolingo score of 110 for English-taught programs (native speakers are exempt)
  • MBA applicants need at least 1 year of work or internship experience

  • Notarized or certified copies of your degree certificate and transcripts

  • Personal statement and study plan
  • Two recommendation letters
  • Health check report
